A Good definition of Evangelism-“To evangelize is to invite others through the power of the Holy Spirit to put their trust in God, through Jesus Christ, to accept Jesus as their Savior and follow Him as their leader in everyday life as members of a local church" - Nelson Searcy

Evangelism is essentially using different methods ‘they are going the wrong way’

God loves souls more than we can ever imagine!

“The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent.” – 2 Peter 3:9

 5 Big Ideas

1)    Accepting and understanding the spiritual reality of heaven & hell

Luke 16:19-31

Luk 15:7 NKJV - "I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

2)    Being bold without being cold-using wisdom –

Pro 11:30 NKJV - The fruit of the righteous [is a] tree of life, And he who wins souls [is] wise.

Wisdom in dealing w/ people 

1Cr 9:19 NLT - Even though I am a free man with no master, I have become a slave to all people to bring many to Christ.

1Cr 9:20 NLT - When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law.

1Cr 9:21 NLT - When I am with the Gentiles who do not follow the Jewish law, I too live apart from that law so I can bring them to Christ. But I do not ignore the law of God; I obey the law of Christ.

1Cr 9:22 NLT - When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.

1Cr 9:23 NLT - I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.

admit and repent when you slip

1Jo 1:9 NKJV - If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Strive to walk right with God-

 You can't lose when you focus on the Golden rule-Mat 7:12 NKJV - "Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the Prophets.

Great commandment- Mat 22:37 NKJV - Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'

Mat 22:38 NKJV - "This is [the] first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39 NKJV - "And [the] second [is] like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'

Mat 22:40 NKJV - "On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

Follow the leading of the great companion in your pursuit of accomplishing the Great Commission-Act 1:8 NKJV - "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Pro 27:23 NKJV - Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, [And] attend to your herds;

Act 2:21 NKJV - And it shall come to pass [That] whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.'

Act 2:40 NKJV - And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation."

Act 2:41 NKJV - Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added [to them].

Act 2:42 NKJV - And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

5) Taking part in the church evangelistic efforts locally and internationally

 II               Volunteer for outreach events (rallys, family-fest,tournaments)

I                   Carry invite cards and Church flyers everywhere

                         Pray for the church and city

 We need a no guts no glory mindset. We have to stand up, step up and step out in reaching out

 Sometimes faith is spelled r-i-s-k
