“Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness.” 1Tim. 4:7 (
“Spend your time and energyin the exercise of keeping spiritually fit.” 1 Tim. 4:7b (L![]()
“Letus strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders ourprogress.” Heb. 12:1b (NLT)
We often either serve our habits or our habits serve us
When you discover your God given vision and destiny then your mind must design a map & your body must be willing as well as trained to endure and enjoy the journey
I would like to suggest you develop the daily habits
here are three to start you off
- Prayer- Talk to God for a few minutes a day http://pastoredsblog.vonorthbrooklyn.org/2009/10/03/establishing-your-prayer-life.aspx
- Read your bible- I would read the sermon on the mount (Matthew 5-7) and the Chapter in Proverbs that coiencides with the current date and the scriptures from the past Sunday sermon that resonated with you (or if your church does memory scriptures)
- Do something kind without any expectation of a return- Someone is asking and looking for God for help and God is asking for us to be his vessels and look for someone to help.
Peace to the saints
