Less is often more part 1

Remember...
Less is often more

As a Pastor I noticed when my messaged are more concise (without sacrificing spiritual vigor and content) people seemed to to enjoy it more, I believe that is because they generally remember it more when I stick to one or two central themes. This is good for me because as a pastor if the members can remember the contents of the sermon with greater clarity than there is a greater chance that they will apply the principles transmitted over the pulpit.

Even in design simplicity is often the muse for great design and aesthetics
check out these designs and take note of the simplicity factor.

Simplicity is one of my personal leadership values.
The challenge is to keep it simple without sacrificing quality.
I hope all the preachers and communicators that read this blog remember sometimes when we says less people remember more.
I also pray that all the church leaders and leaders in general that read this blog will take note of this message, because peoples lives are confusing and complex enough we have to be careful to help bring real solutions and not add to too the internal pollution that is so rampant in most people today.

Got to go
Remember Jesus came to our place to take our place so we can live eternally in his place.

Shalom

Good and timely message Pastor. In this time of down sizing in every way less is not only more; less is also wise. In this time of economic crises many are looking to re-evaluate their needs and priorities; and we are all learning the deep and hard lessons of excess and how unproductive it can be. What does it profit a man to gain the world (possessions) and lose his soul. The only thing we truly need in excess is Love and God has an over abundance of it to dish out. Let's all sharing that with liberality LOVE, pure and simple LOVE.
