What's going on...Pastor Sonny's Sermon....Some thoughts....HarvestFest....Europe
Hey guys,
I'm about to watch Monday Night Football and I wanted to get in a quick post.
Yesterday (Sunday 10/19/2008) Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni preached at a special Unity service in Sunset Park Brooklyn and it was awesome. I got to spend some time with him and the other pastors in the region and he preached a great message about 'A Man God can use'.
I wanted to drop some gems on you...lately I've been challenging my church in a few areas (this is for mature Christians)
To be Faithful- Faithfulness is one of the secrets of success
To have Faith- Faith is the invisible intangible that can change everything
To be Fruitful- We have to take audit that we are not just going throing the motions without any significant growth in our lives. The bible says in John 15 that fruitfulness comes from having a close relationship with Jesus, for he is the one that enables us to bear fruit
....When you bridge them together you realize many times we see people who are faithful but demonstrate no faith (they the one who can take a punch but never knock anyone out) and we also see people who have strong faith but there not faithful (there the ones who are confident of their natural knockout power but they don't want to pay the price)so they don't bear any evident fruit in their lives...our challenge is to be faithful (consistent, diligent, resilient) all the while having faith (convinced, confident, certain regardless of the circumstances) and then we (and others) will see the fruit (internal i.e fruit of the spirit and external evidence i.e growth in our purpose which will have positive eternal implications).
Also as most of you know we are planning our first HarvestFest and we need your prayers and partnership...if you would more info call 718-393-8321
Ana told me they are planning an awesome night for the kids...so don't miss out

Europa here I come
My trip to London, Manchester and Liverpool has been recently expanded to include Spain. I think I going to preach/teach like 5 times in one week, dude I gotta go study (So I can sound halfway 'Brill') and order some Guy Ritchie movies from Netflix and I promise I won't join any 'Firms' (unless they have a NY Jets one)
Peace
Remember to Love God (Pray every 6 o'clock for 6 minutes and order 'The Bible Experience' on Itunes and Listen daily)
Love yourself (Stop taking Car Service to the train station and walk...put down that coffee and drink some water)
and Love others (Even that lady who ran and snatch that shopping cart even though you was following that large family to their car in the Cotsco parking lot and you thought for a second will God forgive me if I put her husband in a triangle choke hold* ...Jesus take the wheel)
*never happen to me cause I shop at a bodega ("1$ worth of ham please") LOL

I was doing some Google surfing and wanted to see what VOBrooklyn was up to and I ran into the churches website. I'm in Brockton, MA - loving people back to life in Christ! Hope to talk to you soon.
