Leadership Law of the Week

Hey guys, here is the leadership law of the week....
Pareto's Principle
Here is a summary from wikipedia

The Pareto principle (also known as the 80-20 rule, the law of the vital few and the principle of factor sparsity) states that, for many events, 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. Business management thinker Joseph M. Juran suggested the principle and named it after Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto, who observed that 80% of income in Italy went to 20% of the population. It is a common rule of thumb in business; e.g., "80% of your sales comes from 20% of your clients."

John Maxwell introduced this principle to the Christian leadership circle.
So if your a leader you should spend a lion share of your time with the people who contribute the most, but what I would like to add is a leader cannot completely ignore the '80', we should recruit the '80' to join the '20' because with the reality of attrition if we neglect to grow the '20' then the '20' will dwindle to '2'....I know your like 'huh' but experienced leaders know what I'm talking about.

Peace
Brett Favre is going to the Jets (I hope)
