Great Youth Service Last Night
Hey everybody,
We (Victory Outreach North Brooklyn) had a great youth service last night. Pastor Danny Carrera and the East Coast U.T.C. came and ministered with a dramatic spoken word skit that was anointed and transparent. The young people who shared their testimonies via spoken word shared about the life transforming power of God. We had approx. 48 (I would love to say 50) in attendance for our second youth G.A.N.G. (God's anointed now generation) service.
In only our second week we I have seen a difference in the lives of some young people, we have a young man who came to church during our 'Live and Die in L.A.' skit which was three weeks ago and last week he was helping with the sound and yesterday he was ushering, we have another quiet young lady who volunteer to share her story via spoken word last time, last night I had a 2 relatively quiet young man text me that he wants to be in the next skits and plus some other feedback from young people from my church and young people from their ministries as well, oh yeah I almost forgot about this one young man last week told me he was going to tell his friends and sure enough last night he walked with some friends looking like a Lil' evangelist and thats what I'm looking for not just a service with a lot of spectators but leading a ministry with Kingdom minded participators.
This week promises to be great
This Friday (7/11/08) at our 'After-Work' service we have a special guest speaker Raylene Torres who is a young women who is a staff member for the UTC that is on fire for Christ.
This Sunday (7/13/08) I will be speaking a message entitled 'The Real 300'
This Monday (7/14/08) I will be teaching in a Men's Discipleship entitles 'The Tao of a Man With A Purpose' their will be a $5 entrance fee and special gifts for the first 20 men in attendance.
