This past week has been very good for your friends at Victory Outreach North Brooklyn
                                            Here are some highlights

***We had a great 'off site' Leadership Training with Pastor Al Valdez (Senior Pastor of Victory Outreach San Diego) in Bridgeport Conn. (Thank you Pastor Joey)
We learned the
1) Importance of Atmosphere
2) How Vital the spirit of the celebration is for a growing church
3) Understanding how important 'Thinking Big' is
4)The Victory Outreach San Diego Leadership standards and how we can integrate those standards in our church
5) We had a great time of personal fellowship with Pastor Al and the UTC Staff
~~~Please note we will be hosting a one day leadership Institute with Pastor Al and Georgina Valdez this fall~~

**we had great Friday 'After-Work' Service....Lawrence (our in house breakdancing, computer repairing, bible teaching guy) spoke a great message and we had a great time of corporate prayer

**We hosted the UTC over the weekend and had a great time of evangelism as well as fellowship with those future world shakers

**Sunday morning we had 50+ people in service, I preached a message entitled 'Living the 27, 365' (about Psalms 27) and you can definitely sense God doing a work in our hearts

**Sunday VONB attended the Regional Unity Service with V.O. Founders Pastor Sonny and Julie Arguinzoni. This event was awesome and life changing as Pastor Sonny Preached a great sermon about the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000 and he challenged the NY Pastors to pray for revival and lead their church to grow to another level. I also was blessed to be part of an informal Pastor's coaching session with Pastor Sonny and I walked away from that impromptu session blessed and clear in what we have to do as a church.

**And Last night we had our first G.A.N.G Service....

• There was 68 people in attendance (and it was raining)
• We had a dramatic illustrated sermon called the 'True Life Zone' and it was life changing
• Several people accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior
• We added several names to our mailing list
• There was some Christians from other churches who attended and encouraged us to continue doing what we are doing
