Pastor Ed's List of Top 10 Football Players of all Time
Here is my list of Top 10 Football Players that I have seen (not necessarily favorite player)
- John Elway- Two rings and 5 superbowl appearances
- Lawrence Taylor- Two Rings, changed the position and dominated other teams
- Emmit Smith- 3 rings and rushing all time leader
- Jerry Rice- Not my favorite player but rings and statistics don't lie
- Tom Brady- He always kills my Jets but his success can't be denied
- Larry Allen- This offensive Lineman used to hurt people and he is the strongest guy in NFL history
- Bill Romanaski- Got 4 rings, played in 5 superbowl games and also played played 243 consecutive games at LB.
- Brett Favre- I might not love him as much as everybody else does but his records, games played and ring can't be denied.
- Reggie White- Had a total of like 198 sacks and he was often double teamed and he was a Christian role model.
- Joe Montana- Joe Cool was not my favorite..I think he might of benefited from a system that defensive coordinators took awhile to catch up with..but he was a leader and he got rings so he makes the list.
- more like 10.5- Charles Haley- Tallied up 100 sacks, 5 rings and was one of the first defensive ends that was used in multiple roles to confuse the offense
here is a list of other players I liked that people might not recognize
Rich Gannon-Wing T Qb that could have been a star if him and coach Gruden would have hooked up sooner
Rod Woodson- Locked CB to smart safety
Ronnie Lott- one of my personal favorite...will Light you up
Randall Cunningham- The ultimate combo of arms and legs at the QB position
Randy Moss- he ran a 4.2 forty last year after 9 years in the league and he score 23 TD last season
Mike Singletary- Fellow minister that was a hard hitter
Curtis Martin - Kept my Jets alive for years
Orlando Pace- Great lineman
Walter Payton- I didn't see too much of him but I appreciate he was the best in his era
Tom Rathman/Roger Craig- Great 49er backfield
I know I forgot many people...
