Hey guys,

Easter is rapidly approaching and those in ministry know Easter is a busy time. This week I've been a little busy...

• I had the opportunity to attend the Times Square Church Pastor's Prayer Meeting- It was great, I made some new friends and networked with other pastor's who want to see N.Y. won for God. I even had a quick chat with Pastor Conlon of Times Square Church
• I attended the Community Board 1 meeting- This meeting is intense as people are very passionate about affordable housing, population density and the placing of a new H.S. in the Hasidic Jewish community. I learned a lot and I have new understanding on how to pray for my city and meet people with political 'pull'
• I attended the 90 pct community meeting- This meeting emphasized more on the crime in the community. This meeting was informative because he gave me good 'Intel' about the city gang problem and how we as a church can help bring the solution. I also had an opportunity to network with the executive captain of the police precinct as well as the community liaison for the District Attorney's office she invited me and Ana to help with some Gang task force (Ana going to call her about our 'harvest fest' in Oct.)
• I had to finish my Paper for my Ministerial Ethics Class- I got class tomorrow Pastor Tony is a great teacher and I'm really enjoying this VETI* class (VETI is the Victory Outreach School of ministry...my church is looking to open an extension by next year for all those people who live in Brooklyn)
• Today we evangelized and invited hundreds of people to come to our Easter Presentation- Pete, Ana, Stacey and I had a great time inviting people to visit our church.
• Tonight we are having a special Prayer meeting with special speaker Ana Castro- evrybody is fasting and we are praying for a succesful Easter campaign
