Recovering from last night's basketball games

Whats up everyone,
I'm trying to recover from major soreness that came from playing basketball last night.
Once again it was the old school (myself, Pete, Kenny, Jimmy and some friends from RHOW and NBT church Pedro and John)

Vs the Young Guns (James, Justin, LJ and Anthony)

The Old school won the first game 21-13 ...thanks to ball control, old school pick and rolls, many 3 second violations and well placed 'hard' fouls(done with love)
the second game was one by the young guns 21-15...mostly because long range shooting, rebounds and many defensive steals and block shots
and the final game and the series was won by the Old School by the score of 21-15....due to the grace of God and smart subsitutions.

We are all brothers in the Lord but these games are played Pelican Bay/Rikers Style(we only play like w/ each other its a 'family thing').

It is great to get together as a family and play, fight and just hang out...it helps bring balance and soreness (LoL) to our lives. Its good to pray hard, work hard and play hard.

Even though I foul them, set brick wall picks on them and dazzle them with my passes I love the young guys in my church and I'm blessed to have them as members, helpers and future leaders in Victory Outreach North Brooklyn, they all either work full time jobs, go to college or both and there potential is out of this world.

I want give congratulations to Lawrence and Ivette Douglas on the birth of their beautful daughter (and my God-Daughter) Hannah Rebecca Douglas, Please keep her in prayer she was preemie at 6 months and we are praying for her everyday and her Mom and Dad visit her everyday at the hospital. I know God's hand is on her life.

Speaking about God-Children I want to give a shout out to my God-Son Jeremiah Torres (future All-American Basketball player and Wide Reciever)

Check out the blog everyday this week for more post.
God Bless
