Motivational Monday
Welcome to Motivational Monday
I know I haven't posted anything in a 'Lil while...I just been crazy busy (Just got back from the Victory Outreach World Conference more on that later in the week).
OK now that you have forgiven me here is a Motivational thought
I believe in order to start making some serious steps to your dream you and I need to embrace the 4 P's
1. Passion: Most of us are pretty cool and don't want to look foolish or weird...but I was thinking most people who succeed all go thru either and awkward stage of preparation and sacrifice or they are pretty intense (and a lil off balance) people. Its like going to Gym and noticing all the old Arnold Training pictures got him making these weird I got to use the restroom faces and I'm sure some people laughed but now he is making that weird 'I might rule the world one day face' he knew everyone must pay the price and I believe most of us need to turn it up a notch check out this observation

Nerd - very little social life and loves school - 'Look at this geek' - 'Boss can i have a raise' Comedian- hangs out w/ drama club - 'that guy is corny, he should quit' - 'Mr Carey can I have a dollar'
Pastor - Prayer, fasting and Bible - 'Look at that Jesus freak' - (I'm tempted but I won't)
Stock Broker - 65Hr work week - 'here come mr Cold calls' - 'Hey can you hook me up w/ a job'
Sucessful people are often not afraid to look stupid
2. Process: We need to learn to pay the price for the prize with a systematic plan of action that calls for discipline, dedication, desire and determination (I know whats with the D's and P's hey I'm pastor thats How we talk..pray for me) the plan must be consistent like a boxer going for a title shot
For example if I wanted to be a rapper the 'Process' might look this:
daily working on my Myspace page..........Writing rhythms daily........checking the news to be the first to catch the new big 'cause' (Like Kayne West 'blood diamond' song and Ludacris 'runaway' song)......pray (God working behind the scenes helps...Kayne does Jesus Walks then Blows up Hmmmmm).....................Listening to old mix tape freestyle session (like Tony Touch Tape #50...hey I wasn't a pastor my whole life) and 'gleaning' old rhythms (hey everybody bites a little bit).........Write comments on rap news website(saying that that guy Ed is the best rapper to come out in the last 5 months)........work on my breath control and my live show performance........call clubs about doing shows..........go to TV public access producers school and develop my own Tv Show starring me........Diss some rapper that made big from a reality show (John Brown from VH1)....... make a Instruction Dvd on How to rhythms 'Brooklyn' style and place an Ad in the newspaper in Idaho and India and sell 30,000 copies at $29.95 take the money and create my own label and more
No matter what your Vision is make a plan to go thru the process!

thats powerful pastor! I know that 'image' can be a big issue to young people... and passion goes beyond publicity! thats heavy pastor ed!! see you soon! godbless
