Great Weekend and VONB 'March Madness' Rematch
Whats up everybody
Me and the VONB Crew had a great weekend,
1) Friday I went up to Bridgeport Conn. to the Victory Outreach Urban Training Center and VO Bridgeport church to the annual X- Days event, I went up by train w/ my friends Eloy, Sade, Anthony and Noami(AKA Mimi), the Friday night service was great and we had a leadership training for the youth leaders w/ Evangelist Danny Lara and I had a team meeting w/ the regional team and while I was at Bpt. VONB members were volunteering their times giving out flyers and putting door hangers invitationals on doors (thanks guys)
2) Friday night some of the youth leaders, Pastor Cesar and myself went to a diner and had a great time (mostly arguing about the Yankees) after that we went to play some 'Madden' at my friend Jermain Shepherds house, I had show them my madden skills (beating my friend Alex by the score 60-24...I told you guys I'm a maddenologist)
3) Saturday I played some hoops and had a great time and As I was leaving the East Coast G.A.N.G.(God's Anointed Now Generation) gave be a belated surprise belated birthday party and some great gifts (an authentic Jonathan Vilma 'Jets' Jersey and some other NY Jets stuff...thanks guys)
4) Saturday Night I saw the UFC Fight w/ the VONB Leadership Team (I predicted Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson would win)
5) Our Sunday morning service was great ...we had 3 new guest and our good friend Sarah Price (Sister Cathy Mcclendon's awesome mom) came for the first time....this week Kenny preached (Kenny Mcclendon is one of the new leaders in VONB...but he is really not a new leaders he has run Men's and Women's rehab homes and has Pioneered a church in the past...I know I'm blessed) Kenny preached the house down and we had a great time of fellowship (too good we left a lil late)
6) Sunday night me and the wife and kids went to visit my Father, Grandmother super Titi (my aunt Carlina) and other members of my family, we had a bbq and great time eating, listening to 'oldies' and hanging out.
7) Monday (memorial day) Vonb had a joint picnic w/ Vo Brooklyn @ Dyker Park(VO Brooklyn has the best picnic spot) we had a great time... the food was great(The Morales father/daughter combo did a great job)..we played football (I still 'got it' if I do say so myself) Volleyball (I must say my wife Ana is a great volleyball player), Pinata, Cards(UNO!...SHRECK!..private joke), Three legged race (Me and Ana won our race...Kenny and Lawrence better watch out
) and my sons Eddie and Ethan has a great time playing the games VO Brooklyn(Pastor Larrry and Ginger Arreola) provided.
8) But one of the best part of Monday's picnic was the rematch B-ball game between the old school of vonb( Kenny 'Fountain of youth' Mcclendon, Jimmy 'the 3 second rule violator', Pete 'Pigeon' Pinela and Ed 'my jumper is back' Castro versus Anthony 'Young Matrix' Mcclendon, 'Run all day' LJ, James 'bling provider' Williams and Justin 'new baby butcher' Douglas...it was a close contest but Jimmy's boxing out, Kenny's rebound, Ed Jumpshots and Pete's Defense was too much for the 'young guns' too handle and we(Old School) won 16-13 Avenging our 'March Madness' Loss

Don't feel bad Young Guns, the Old School is hurting today (they will never admit it). It was a wonderful picnic and we give honor and thanks for All the Brave Arm Forces Past and Present that secure our freedoms to gather and celebrate.
In memory of medal award winning Pvt.
