we had a great time at the Graham ave 'Fiesta'
Hey everybody,
We (Victory Outreach North Brooklyn Church) had a great time this past weekend, This Saturday we had the privilege to have our choir perform (as well as Christian Rapper 'Tha Reason) at the Graham Ave Street Fair.
We had a blast not only did we sing 2 songs and danced (Anthony and Sade did their thing) and tha reason rapped 2.5 songs we also gave out close/or more than 100 bibles, collected 50 names for the mailing list and gave out a 1,300 fliers and we were looking cool with our Victory Outreach North Brooklyn T-Shirts (Thanks Pastor Cesar ...hey if your church or business needs t-shirts call the East Coast UTC @ 203-334-8417 they will hook you up tell them Pastor Ed sent you and if you want a VONB T-shirt just leave me a comment and I'll get back to you)
I want to say a special thank you to Enrique from Pastor Raymond's Church Recovery House Of worship for lending us chairs, tables and a tent.
I also want to say thank you to brother Jimmy and Cooky for setting up, providing transportation and leading the choir (they're the best)
I also want to give a quick Birthday Shout Out to Melanie Rodriguez
We also had some great Fellowship these past few days (fellowship like a Christian rock star) at one of my favorite Easting establishments...New Apolo restaurant at Grand St in Williamsburg (Get the fish and Ice t and then you will thank me with a gift certificate to amazon and orbitz and Men's suit warehouse...its that good...well almost
)
Some exciting things are about to start to take place
We are in the middle of a 4 part sermon series titled 'LOST' this Sunday Kenny Mcclendon will be speaking on the Lost Sheep, Then The following Sunday Lawrence Douglas will be speaking on 'the Lost coin' and Pete will finish it off with a sermon the 'The lost son', I just spoke this past Sunay on finding our 'lost' sense of destiny, purpose and gifts.
This weekend the young people (and me and Eloy) will be going to the UTC for their annual X-Days
Then on Monday we are having a joint 'Memorial Day' picnic w/ Victory Outreach Brooklyn
All right I gotta go
