I had a great weekend
This past weekend was pretty cool. On Friday and Saturday me and my Victory Outreach North Brooklyn family attended some great services/seminars and discipleships in Victory Outreach Phila. Spanish Church (great building)
and it was awesome from the worship to the preaching(pastor Bruce Bernal from VO Santa Ana is funny)
What I enjoyed most was the fellowship and the connection with my family from the VO East Coast region, I know a lot of regions say they are a family but in east coast we are really a family.
My son Lil' Eddie (he is really not little) loved it and met his v.o. family and you can sense he felt and understood that there was a connection to value (crazy heh...he is a deep 3 year old and bossy too ...pray for me)
On the way home I learned something that can probably help you, we were on a highway and for a long period of time in travel we entertained the possibility that we were lost. Sure enough there were signs along the way to reassure us that we were still headed in the right direction. This reminds me that all of us who are on the path of purpose that we are to fulfill God's plan for our lives must always ask and observe God's little signs that He gives us that we are still headed in the right direction. This is especially true when we take the road less traveled and reach uncharted areas of growth in our lives. So my friends before you make a u-turn, before you pull over and definitely before you exit...go forward a little longer and look for the signs that you are headed in the right direction.
***Hi, this is Ana (Ed's Wife) and I was driving on this trip that Ed speaks of and I was very happy to see the signs and to know we were headed in the right direction. However it was very, very late and sometimes you get tired when you are on the right path, or right road but don't fret you'll get there if you just keep pressing on! Press on towards the prize like Paul the Apostle did. It was also good to have a great navigator (as Ed was) on this road trip, sometimes we miss the signs because we are looking out for other important things and Ed would always help me and remind me we were on the right track. Who is reminding you that you are on the right track? We all need that friend, relative, mentor, leader, parent and pastor in our lives to help remind us where we are at and where we need to be. For some it's pride that gets in the way of asking for directions, don't let anything stop you from going where you need to be. Ask...you might be surprised at what you hear. Love Ya, Ana.
