different to make a difference
I know many Christians..well people in general for that matter, that desire to make a difference.
So I decides to dedicate make next few entries in 'becoming different to make difference'.
The first thing I want to share with you is that some of us need a different attitude(I can hear Patti Labelle now 'I'm feeling' good from my head to my shoes...' I'm so old school). I will like you to read Luke 17:11-18 and study the story of the 10 lepers ....here is quick overview to help you
1. These 10 men had the same problem- Many people in the world are encountering the very same problem you are facing right now
2. These 10 men approached the same person for results- The guys heard the difference Jesus makes and decided to discover the difference for themselves.
3. These 10 men had the same request to God(prayer)-these guys had an advantage over us due to the fact that Jesus was right in front of them, Even Jesus said to Thomas that blessed are those who believe and don't physically see (John 20:29)...So I want to challenge you to have paradigm shift in your prayer life from be a ritualistic 15min every 2 days(come on now tell the truth) to having a prayer time of 10 minutes a day and let be based on relationship(seeking his face and not just his hands)
4. One man was grateful- Only one man came back and gave thanks/worship. Lets prepare to take on the attitude of gratitude in the new year coming....this attitude is emotionally healthy and I believe it is a magnetic quality that attracts more things in your life to be grateful for.
In your quest to make an impact(and not just an impression) in 2007 I hope you will consider taking on an attitude of gratitude....remember your attitude determines your altitude
lets make a difference

The passage is a blessing for me, because we ten to only thank God when he blesses us. but we need to start thinking about our blessings everyday, how he wake us up this morning for one. so many people did not wake up this morning. Thank him for our family, thank him for our jobs, so many don't have a job. How about just thanking him for him being God. Thank him for his goodness and mercy that carries us daily. I truly am blessed, better than blessed.
